At this weekend’s Auckland Castle Trail race, it was one of our own who brought home the win on a course that is a little over 5 miles and features testing terrain with plenty of variation in conditions underfoot.
Michael Bleasby was top boy finishing 1st in 32:28 with solid runs from Dave McKenna 18th, Graham O’Hara 39th and Tony Roberts 94th. Val Clarke was the only lady from the club in action but finished impressively as 2nd lady home in 45:20 and 74th place overall.
185 runners took part on the day.
