Emma Matthews was back in competitive action this weekend at the European Duathlon held in Punta Umbria, Spain.
Competing in the 20 to 24 AG Sprint event (First run 4.8km, bike 20.4km then 2.8km run). Emma ran 18:39 for the 4.8km run, covered the bike distance in 34:29 and the final 2.8km run in 11.24.
Despite a delay in the first transition, Emma finished 3rd GBR athlete and 4th overall from the 11 athletes.
This means that Emma has qualified for the 2021 European Duathlon. Congratulations!
