A day after Boxing Day and most people are still trying to recover from the vast amount of food eaten from the previous two days festivities, but not everyone.
Darren Stockdale and Mark Milner were two Harriers in race action at Guisborough Woods Fell race, and for these two unlucky athletes that’s quite appropriate as the tough conditions got the better of them.
This fell race is a 3 lap event covering approximately 5.5 miles and 1200m of ascent over forest trail and muddy terrain.
Mark Milner was first back from the pair, finishing in 55:20 for 76th position, with Darren covering the distance in around 60:14 for 105th place.
Well done gentleman, it looked good fun!
