Last Saturday morning the club held the Croft 5km event at the named racing circuit on the outskirts of town. After the anomalies had been ironed out the results have now been published on Racebest.
Croft race circuit is always a little controversial as people run a variety of distances depending on the route taken around the track. Some runners have run exactly the distance and others have up to 0.09 longer where the racing line has not been taken (this is not always the inside of the track).
Regardless of the distance, this was a very successful event with some terrific performances with personal bests scattered amongst the field.
