Another race to take place this week was the Durham 5 and 10km events on Wednesday evening. The World Heritage Site provides the stunning backdrop to this exciting event that chases through the narrow cobbled streets and along the beautiful River Wear with the imposing 900 year old Cathedral always beckoning.
Tony Winward was first Harrier home in the 10km with youngster Liam Brittle in the 5. Ian Barnes took 1st place in his category and Catherine Anderson 3rd in hers.
