Andy Harrison gives out the instructions

Well done for organising and congratulations to all our runners on the evening.

Sunday saw the return of the McTaggart Trot, the 15th year this event has been held and organised by Grant McTaggart which sees teams of 3 run an eleven mile route but at each checkpoint (4mile and 7.5) dropping a single runner allowing the final longer distance/faster runner to finish the race….all whilst dressed up in some kind of festive outfit. The Talman team made up of Freya, Sam (late replacement for John Dunne) and Barry took the win on the day. Some great outfits on the day, here’s a few of the photos that i’ve found from social media (feel free to send me yours to be added on here)

The event is to raise money for the town’s St Teresa’s Hospice and the event should raise over £2000. Huge thanks to everybody who supported the event from runners to officials on the day, you’ve all made a huge difference. Full results will be released in the next day or two.

a small selection of Harriers from the day.
