This report will not provide you with a detailed account of each event but should give you enough information about what’s occurred the previous week, who’s participated and links to photographs and results. Race Results
This weekend saw the Northern athletics Championships take place at Wavertree, Liverpool. In the Triple Jump Ashton Harrison leapt to 10.95m which was good enough for 5th place. In the 300m race Libby Hammond competing in Heat 2 finished in 44.51 sec for 6th place while Libby also raced the 800m on the Sunday finishing 6th again in 2.31.81.
Competing in the 1500m saw Macy Kelly finish in 4.53.83 again for for 6th while in the Sundays 800m saw her clock 2.22.85 for 8th place in her heat.
In the U13 boys shot put, Tomos Cowell put in a winning performance throwing 9.73m to be crowned Northern champion. Well done Tomos and all our competitors.
