The club made a perfect start at the North of England Senior League at York on May 19th. With points scored for position in each race in addition to points accrued for officials these competitions are a true team event. Team captains Paul Allan and Sue Phillips led their troops into battle and came out triumphant finishing with a massive 523 points compared to second place Scarborough AC on 380 and Heaton Harriers on 354.
Fantastic start to the season so please watch out for future posts from our captains as they assemble their next squads for the second event, someone finishing last in their event could be the difference between success and failure so get involved.
