Darren Thompson was in half marathon action this Sunday morning at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire supporting the Move Charity , a charity which helps children and young people with cancer through the power of exercise and sport.
The race starts in the grounds of Prestwold Hall taking runners down the main driveway before making a circuit of the Hall’s motor track then out onto the closed roads around the area. Runners then re-enter the grounds for another lap of the airfield to finish in front of the Grand Hall. Darren had another excellent run on the day finishing in a new personal best of 77:02 for 5th place. Top running Darren.
