You’d be forgiven for thinking you’d walked onto the set of a horror movie last Sunday evening, as all kinds of ghouls and ghosts came out of the shadows.
However, it was just the Halloween Fun Run around Darlington’s South Park to raise money and awareness of mental health. Following the route of the 5k park run, four of our junior harriers were spotted taking part, although they weren’t easy to recognise behind the masks and face paint!

The emphasis on today’s event was ‘fun’ rather than speed, but young Harry Rogers was having none of that! He flew round the course and was the first junior boy to cross the line, finishing 9th overall with an excellent time of 25:28.

Well done to all who took part; a thoroughly spooky night in aid of a fantastic cause!
A big thank you to Karen Harland, more of her spooky photos can be seen here
