Another race to occur last week was the Locke park 10, a multi lap event around the park which again is flat and fast despite the odd layout of the course in parts.
We had six of our club runners in the field, Dave Tomlinson who’s had a great year was first to finish for the club in 4th place and 1st in his age category in 64:22 which may edge him to a gold medal in the club V45 championship….but you will find out on the night if he’s done enough.
There was also other podium age category finishers for Sarah Tomlinson (2nd F40), Shirley Gibson (1st F70) and Anne Hutchinson 3rd F45 in addition to strong runs from Andy Harrison and Andrew Glencross.
