Soaring Temperatures at Pitstop

At the midweek Pitstop 10km race, we had a large contingent out to support the club race at Croft Circuit where runners complete 3 laps of the 2 mile circuit before finishing down the pitstop lane.

The conditions were hot. At 7pm the temperature was still showing as 30 degrees with no breeze, air or shade to give runners any relief.

Drew Inglis was first home for the club in 7th place in 35.13 with Sharon Barlow 17th in 37.55.

Colin Taylor 14th in 36.39, Jamie Rutherford 15th in 36.49, Graham Hindmarch 18th in 37.57, Paul Cook in 20th in 38.01 and Simon Rogers 21st in 38.05 made it a really close finish.
