Under 15 Harrier, Sarah Wilcock represented the Northern Tetrathlon team at the Royal Windsor Horse Show recently. The tetrathlon is a multi-disciplined event consisting of air pistol target shooting, 3 minute swim, 1500m run and horse riding (show jumping or cross country.)
The team finished 4th overall, and were the only team to all jump clear! It was a mixed gender competition and Sarah was the 3rd girl to finish, and 9th overall.
It was a thrill for Sarah and her pony Patch to compete with Windsor Castle as their backdrop. Patch was also ridden by one of the Northern Irish teams as they don’t transport their horses across for this competition. Thankfully, he loves his job and jumped a clear round for them too!
