Simon Rogers made his long awaited comeback from a hamstring injury in a low key 5km (2.9mile) trail race at Newham Grange this week.
This trail race offers a mix of terrain with almost a mile loop around the farm before taking you into the scenic woodland area. The route starts on tarmac but quickly takes runners on the trails with a few up hills and a few downhills to keep everyone occupied.
Simon finished 12th in 18:42 with Paul Lowe taking the win in a speedy 16:56 from a field of 98. Good to see you back Buck and great running from the White Kenyan.
