Last week Penny Skilton took on the Wainstones Trail marathon, Great Ayton, a race which requires all runners to carry kit across tough conditions including over 1300 metres of ascent.
Accompanied by Matt Capsey from mile 12, Penny battled her way around the course in 8hrs 45 to earn her medal.
