Once the 10km race was underway, the half marathon runners set off on the figure of eight course. This years course was slightly amended with the race starting and finishing just off the coast road which resulted for a fantastic day for many runners within the field with many achieving New personal bests.
Second claim runner Dean Newton took 3rd place but some fantastic performances throughout the field including Colin Taylor’s 6th place with a new personal best of 67:08, Barry Talman and Shaun Marshall neck and neck to the line, Barry smashing his previous best, Dave Tomlinson pictured here breaking his PB with Tony Winward taking an unbelievable 9 minutes of his Previous best effort finishing 56th in 87:05.
Other PB’s include Paul Dunne, Andrew Neasham, Tony Roberts, Tracey Owen, Catherine Anderson, Julie Richardson and Linda Reeves.
Some tremendous performances right through the field with many personal bests. Brilliant running.
