Not a Wet and Wild Whitby

Last Sunday a number of Harriers headed to Whitby, a place where many club runners are scared after last years atrocious conditions. Bernadette Caygill kicked things off for the ladies finishing 9th, jade Hutchinson 12th with Linda Noble 19th . Daughter Megan made up the point scorers in 25th place giving the women an overall 2nd place.
Other runners included Nicky Young39th Diane Jones 51st Millie Grayson 52nd Janice Foster 55th Emma Campbell-Critchley 91st Anne Hutchinson 93rd Anneke Hill (debut) 97th.
In the men’s race it was Paul Lowe who once again showed his class finishing 5th with Drew Inglis 7th, Paul Allan 10th, Colin Taylor 12th, Andy Campbell-Critchley50th one place ahead of Jeff Miller in 51st making up the point scorers for an overall 2nd place.
Other runners included Tom Leighton 55th Dave McKenna 67th Andy Harrison 85th Graham Garvey 97th John Dunne 109th and Tony Roberts 135th.
