Lee Hammond was taking on his second marathon of the year, right on target for his marathon a month challenge. This time it was the ‘It’s Grim Up North Pateley Pie n Pint” marathon.
Lee said the conditions were very muddy and had some great support from club members to help him round. Of the 24 runners who did the full distance, Lee finished 14th in 5:30:32 despite taking a tumble.
