Paul Cook was the only Harrier at this years Great North West half marathon. The race route takes runners up and around the promenade in a variety of small and big loops. This would be a great course to attempt a personal best but the wind on the seafront was pretty horrendous with over 30mph winds with water spraying over the sea front onto the course.
On the day Paul finished 52nd in 1.25.35 in tough conditions. Full results from the day can be found here.
