Last week saw eight of our athletes taking part in the Christine Brass memorial race, an annual event in Stainton which raises money towards the maintenance and upkeep of the village hall and defibrillator.
This low key event takes runners round a 2.5 Lap multi terrain, traffic free route taking them over tarmac and open farm land which is undulating.
On the day second claim Dean Newton took 1st place with Phil Teece just outside the podium places in 4th. A number of good performances on the day from this small field of 71.
