As the sun continues to shine kindly on England over several weeks now, the Everyone Active 5km race, Middlesboro, on Sunday morning proved to be another race where the sun made running difficult for all abilities.
For those who haven’t done this race before, it’s a fast and flat circuit until you reach the stadium and a flyover awaits pushing runners firstly up, then down the other side, around a roundabout then back up and down the flyover before entering the Riverside stadium where you are greeted by a wall of noise as many as you will see on matchday….approx. 330!
Shaun Marshall was first Harrier home in 13th place, breaking his personal best in the process with several other runners also achieving a new PB.
Linda Noble (pictured) finished 2nd lady on the day so drinks will be on her! Well done everyone, great turn out. Full results can be found here
