Mermaid 10km is a very popular race on the local circuit due to it’s flat course profile and a real chance to get a personal best early in the season and for some this delivered. Adam Mitchell was first Harrier home after sitting on team mate Paul Allan’s shoulder for most of the race before pushing past him in the last km to smash his personal best to take second best in 33:03, five seconds ahead of Paul who also broke his best in the process. Some terrific performances again through the field with at least ten of our athletes achieving a PB. Well done everyone who pulled on the club vest and gave your best.
