Sue Phillips was in action at the final E Masters fixture at Jarrow on 30th July. Competing in the 800m Sue not only finished 1st F55 runner but in the process smashed the F55 record in 2.54.3 beating the old record of 2.56.9.
On the same night – Darlington ladies were first v35 team in the 4 x 100 relay with a time of 59.2, another league record and the only ladies team of Sarah Johnson Sue Phillips and our two higher claim athletes Hayley Richardson and Frances Barlow were the only team under 60 seconds on the night.
