We had some of our club members at the Scarborough 10km race this weekend, a traffic free, flat course around the spectacular Scarborough Castle Headland including Scarborough’s’ historic South Bay seafront, Marine Drive, North Bay Open Air Theatre and the North Bay Promenade. What more could you ask for??
This was another event that was impacted by the wet weather as runners were once again caught in the downpour. Despite the conditions Phil Teece was first home for the club finishing 3rd in his age category in 41:01.
Kelly Sloan was first lady Harrier home finishing in a new personal best of 45:52. Hamish Laishley was another who achieved a personal best finishing in 49:32.
Some great times all round, well done all Harriers.
