Anne Hutchinson took on an almighty challenge this weekend as she threw herself into an Ironman event in the heart of the Lake District, Keswick.
This classic event consists of a 2.4mile swim, 112 mile bike ride followed by a full marathon. Anne, looked to enjoy the whole experience smiling throughout, absolutely smashed it finishing in a time of 14:23:26. Superb achievement!
In addition to Anne’s efforts on the day, we also had Andy Dobson and his wife Stacey participating in the mixed Tri Half event. Andy who has been blighted by injury over the last couple of years completed the swim and bike before passing over to Stacey for the half marathon. They completed this in a total time of 6:36:13.
