On Sunday morning Hilary Bevan headed to Pontefract for the mornings half marathon, the second year for this event. The race takes runners out of Pontefract and into the beautiful countryside through Ackworth, Wentbridge and Carleton before heading back towards town and a final lap of the centre before the finish on the cobbles of Market Place.
Although there appears to be an issue with the results currently, Hilary finished in around 2hr 30 for a new personal best.
