More than 9,500 runners successfully completed today’s Leeds Abbey Dash 10K in what turned out to be one of the most thrilling finishes the race has witnessed. North Yorks Moors’ Matty Hynes edged out Josh Lilly and Callum Hawkins to secure top spot, with just two seconds separating the top three performers.
Paul Cook finally broke the 37 minute barrier…with a single second to spare as he finished in 36.59 for 473 at this GB event. Paul’s training partner Simon Rogers also had a great day finishing a personal best too in 37.23 for 508th place.
