Whilst Thirsk 10 and East Hull/Locke Park 20 races fell victim to the weather Hardmoors 55 went ahead as planned with runners advised to put a long sleeved top on! These races are for the hard-core and even in good weather so add conditions of biblical proportions and it adds another lair of difficulty.
Full results have yet to be released but all runners returned safe which is the main thing. Well done Mark Milner, Matt Capsey, Heather Mochrie and Kim Reeve.
