Sunday saw two of our athletes take on the Branches and Bays 10km race, which is part of the Urban Trails series of races by Trail Outlaws. It is set in a beautiful and historic area of County Durham.
Starting in the local village of Hawthorn, the route takes you through the Durham Wildlife Trust and National Trust managed woodland of Hawthorn Dene. Then the running of the Bays of Hawthorn Hive and The Blast Beach.
Danielle Clark was first of our two athletes home finishing in 280th in 1:13.44 with Brian Burdon 69th in 1:18.15.
