Another Half marathon to take place was the Great Cumbria Run. A beautiful scenic run which takes in some fantastic views of Carlisle before finishing in the athletics stadium. A little undulating in places but nothing that would worry any of our club athletes.
Once again some excellent performances on the day, Melanie Embleton completed her first half marathon, well done Mel a fantastic achievement and Alison Matthews finished 1st lady on the day from a field of under 1200 runners. Well done all runners, hope you enjoyed the run!
