Peter Foulds was back in competitive action this Saturday, this time at the 30 mile challenge along with Darren Gee. This ultra distance event has 4200 feet of climbs so really not an event for the beginner runner. Darren was first of the two back, finishing in an excellent 2nd place in 5hr 5 minutes with Peter 11th in 6hrs 31. Darren who finished 54th in 2hr 36 at the Keswick mountain festival has been in excellent form of late.
Sara Gee was also competing on the day but in the 14 mile race. Sara finished in an excellent 18th place in 3hrs 2. Well done all three of you.
