There was a fantastic turn out of Junior Harriers for the second NEYDL meeting of the season. The sun was shining, the team spirit was high, and everyone was looking forward to an exciting day of athletics!
As always there were some terrific performances from our juniors with plenty of new PB’s. The team spirit was even more evident as the day progressed with Darlington Harriers gradually climbing the leader board and eventually finishing in 2nd place behind the might of Durham City Harriers.
This is an amazing achievement from a small club like ours and really shows off the potential of our young athletes.
You should all be very proud of yourselves! ☺

Huge thanks go out to the officials, coaches and volunteers who helped out on the day – especially Claire Rutter who stepped up as team manager in Adam’s absence, and Claire Bell who relieved Claire Rutter of her duties later in the day
