Sunday saw a small number of Harriers head to Ripon for the annual Fountains Abbey 10km. This is a testing 10km not just for it’s undulating course with a tough hill to finish but for the 2km farmers field that needs to be tackled, especially if the conditions aren’t ideal as the field retains large pools of water and mud.

Paul Cook was first home on the day finishing in 38 minutes dead and 5th place one place and twenty one seconds ahead of Paul Weir pictured and Sharon Barlow in 7th who is in the process of transferring to the club. Corinne Murray showing as QRC on the results finished 61st in 46:32.
