Sunday saw the annual Aycliffe 10km race, a race which takes athletes around the ‘scenic’ Greenfield and Cobblers Hall area. This race is deceptively undulating in parts which sees competitors compete one small loop and two larger loops.
Tony Winward was once again first home for the club in 7th place with Michael Bleasby one place behind as he marks his ‘second coming’ at the club.
Some excellent performances throughout the field again with some impressive performances from our ladies on the day, four of which have come through the C25K academy to gain a 3rd team place overall in the ladies race. Jo-Anne Tarn taking honours as first lady home.
Fantastic performances from all concerned, well done.
