We all know Rosie Thompson as an expert in the field of throwing – successfully competing in the shot, javelin, discus and hammer for Darlington Harriers. But she also plays a major part in Hummersknott Academy’s Badminton Team. They recently took part in the Regional Finals of the 2017-18 National Schools’ Competition, at Thornaby Pavilion……and won!!
This is the second year running where they will go on as North East Champions to the National Finals at Badminton England HQ, Milton Keynes at the end of April. Congratulations, Rosie, up to your usual high standard
