Mark Milner was once again in Hardmoors action last weekend, this time at the 110 mile. Starting in Filey,competitors will have a time limit of 36 hours to complete the 110 mile single stage trail race, following the stunning Cleveland Heritage coastline visiting the seaside resort of Scarborough, the old smuggling town of Robin Hood’s Bay, Dracula’s Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn, before passing through the beautiful Cleveland Hills and the North York Moors before finishing in the market town of Helmsley.
This event took Mark past the 1000 mile mark for Hardmoors events earning him a 1000m Hardmoors certificate. Incredible amount of mileage across these events. Mark finished in an impressive 43rd place in 32 hours, 31 minutes and 44 seconds….I’m tired even typing that out!
