On a week that had seen the North East of England hit with some freakish weather, the wind that runners were exposed to atThirsk was probably as good as they could have hoped for. Thirsk 10 is one large loop with only a few slight inclines to tackle so given the right conditions,a personal best is always possible.
On a cold day, Paul Allan was once again first Harrier home as he battled against some strong winds to finish 10th in an excellent 56:22 with Colin Taylor 21st in 57:39.
Some excellent results through the field on a tough day, no more so than Sarah Addison who took a whopping 12 minutes of her previous best.
Fantastic efforts by everyone today, great to see many Harriers on show.
