On Sunday morning a strong contingent of Darlington Harriers headed to York Racecourse for the annual Brass Monkey Half Marathon, an early indication of fitness levels and a good run out for all so early into the season.
On a gusty day where conditions were difficult in parts, Paul Allan was first home for the club finishing 21st in 74:50 but some excellent performances scattered through the field with some personal bests achieved including Garry Collinson pictured left of this picture along with Barry Talman who had a solid run on the day.
Well done everyone who ran and very well done to those of you who achieved a personal best, a lot of training has been put in to achieve those results today.
