As far as winners go, the day belonged to Carmel; they took most of the year groups and they were the overall victors as well.
However, the real winners were our Junior Harriers – their strength shone through as they dominated most events, with medal after medal going their way, but more importantly their sportsmanship was overwhelming, as they cheered on and supported their Harrier team mates, whichever school they might be competing for!
It was a pleasure to watch.
So well done to all who took part, you were a credit to yourselves, your school and Darlington Harriers
