We had two runners making the short trip to Melmerby for the annual 10km race last week. This race,now in it’s 35th year is a really great race around Melmerby’s back country lanes. Although quite an undulating course,a very good event to take part in with a possibility of a good time too!
Steve Wilkinson was first of our two runners home finishing in 41:41 for 58th place which no doubt he will be happy with considering a calf injury impacted his race with Nicky Young 125th in 47:06 and 3rd in her age category.
