On Saturday we had a small number of runners at the rescheduled Lightwater Valley 10k, a race which is good fun taking runners across grass, man made paths and roads.
In a low key race Phil Teece finished this one in 7th place but 1st in his age category, youngster Liam Brittle running his first 10k 11th as well as claiming the 10k U15 club record which is currently vacant. The departing Kim Reeve finished 36th but 2nd lady 2mins faster than her effort last year with Tommy ‘The Fist’ Addison finishing 78th despite clenched fist and manly wave to the Mrs!
Well done all of you, hope you had a round at the crazy dinosaur golf while you were there!
