Last Wednesday, 2nd July saw the return of the clubs annual Pitstop events which are held on Croft Circuit. A nice alternative to the regular road races, athletes young and old race around the 2.2mile circuit which is normally associated with motor racing. Tonight saw a number of our club runners at the Muddy Road 3 mile race. New to Muddy Roads this 3 mile trail is mainly flat and fast, with a challenging climb and a little cheeky one at the end, with plenty of horses in the surrounding fields some maybe tempted to hitch a ride!

The club saw a good turnout of runners at the popular Marina 5 Mile race in Hartlepool. This is as out and back of a race as it comes with a 2.5mile out along the coast after a short run through a new housing estate, round a cone and back. Weather dependent this can be
Louise and Barry Talman along with Garry Collinson were involved in the Butterwick Hamsterley Forest 10km race this weekend. Louise and husband Barry running together finished 13th and 14th in 45.43 with Louise picking up prize for first lady across the line. Garry finished 19th in 47.36 from the 137 runners.
