Falls and Castles

Penny Skilton and Lou Kavanagh were in action this Sunday at the Falls and Castle Trail race, a race which covers 7 miles from Boldon Castle, near Leyburn. Both of our ladies made it round in one piece but both confirmed it was hard work for all competitors. Well done both of you! Results yet

This event is always well organised and an excellent chance for members to get together and form teams of 4 regardless of speed. Last Saturday morning the club held the Croft 5km event at the named racing circuit on the outskirts of town. After the anomalies had been ironed out the results have now been published on Racebest. Harriers out in Force

On Thursday evening 60 Harriers were on show at the NYMAC relays, a 4 person team relay each runner taking on a 1 mile loop around Stewart park Middlesboro. The course takes runners down a small bank which enables runners to get off to a quick start before levelling out until around 400m to go
