Today saw three of our runners head to Holwick, near Middleton in Teesdale for the Cronkley Fell race. the race covers 10.5miles and has climbs of 1755ft so a tough one on the legs. Results have yet to be published but the trio were full of smiles….at least before they set off!
Twelve months ago the team of Simon Rogers, Paul Cook, Andy Dobson and Nick Mason romped home as the fastest non club at the Neptune relays…well they were back again with Dave McKenna replacing Nick with Andy the only non Harrier at this time. If I thought it couldn’t get any colder and wetter than the previous year I was wrong! Blackpool in February is not usually the place to get the sun cream out but even so, this was a little extreme with freezing cold rain and high winds……on the sea front! Paul Cook was first for the
