Laura Girard decided to add another string to her bow by taking on her first Super Sprint triathlon.The triathlon comprises a pool swim of 200m with a 6km cycle on roads and a 2.5km run.Laura did very well finishing the event in 51:49!Great work Laura

Race for Life

On a very busy week for the club we also saw a number of Harriers head to Cumbria for the Gelt Gladiator a tough obstacle course over challenging terrain while others stayed closer to home and ran the Race For Life at South Park. Two terrific events and looks like everyone had a great time!

Joggers head to Ripon for a Jolly

A number of Harriers headed to Ripon to take part in the seasonal Jolly Holly Jog 10k, a testing mixed terrain race scenic route which takes runners through Studley Royal deer park. Unfortunately results have yet to be released so more on this race next week.

Wheezy does it

On Christmas Eve a number of Harries headed to Ropner Park to take on the What a Wheeze 5km fun run. This is the 3rd year of this event which takes in three laps of the park which is mainly flat and fast. Well done all those who took part.
