Up & Coming Events How do I?…. Race Results Sunday saw two of our Masters compete at the Indoor pentathlon and 3k championships in Sheffield. Andy Harrison competing in the Pentathlon clocked 12.7 in the 60m hurdles, 4.87m in the Long jump, 8.03m in the shot put, 1.37m in the high jump and 3.01.42 in
Today saw the return of the Darlington 10km race after a two year gap due to the Covid situation making last years event a virtual one. This event clashed with the last senior Track & Field event with promotion and possible championship on the line so for once numbers weren’t as high as usual but
We had two of our ladies in action at Sunday’s Lightwater Valley 10k, a race which sees competitors run the outskirts of the park on an undulating course around country roads. Andrea Reese and Julie Price ran the whole route together finishing in 253rd and 254th place in a time of 70:44. Great work ladies,
Sunday saw a number of our Harriers head over the border as they took on the Cross Border 10km annual race, which this year saw runners run from Gretna to Carlisle in wet conditions. Barry Bell was first over the line in 43:08 in 123rd place ahead of team mates Hamish Laishley 263rd and Iain
Last Sunday saw the first race of the Cross Country take place at the Flatts, Thirsk. Results are now out which saw our ladies senior team take 3rd spot and the men in 6th. Great to see many Harriers making their debut on the day.
