Tonight saw the return of the Tom Wall relays where once again the club had a good turnout for this 4 x 1mile relay event which is very popular on the local scene. Some fantastic performances again from our group, full results will be published here when available.

Sunday saw a handful of our Harriers at the Leeds 10km race, a fast out and back event which starts and finishes in the city centre. Full results can be found here
We had a huge turnout at the clubs home race, the pitstop 10km which takes place at Croft race circuit and sees competitors undertake 3 laps of the race. Sunday saw the Hadrians Wall half Marathon take place, a race which has pretty much everything. The race begins on path for a short stretch before taking runners across fields along Hadrians wall, crossing styles, gates and plenty undulation along the way including some hilly sections. We had a big turn out on tonight’s Blaydon race, a 5.67mile race which takes place on the 9th of June each year. The Blaydon Race is an athletic race from Newcastle upon Tyne to Blaydon, following the famous 1862 Geordie folk song. Phil Teece was first of the group to finish in 32 minutes
This week saw the annual NYMAC relays, the 4 x 1mile event around Stewarts Park in Middlesbrough which is always popular amongst the running clubs. Another excellent night with loads of great performances throughout the club. Full results can be found here
Midweek saw some of our Senior Harriers head over to North Yorkshire Moors to take on the Roseberry Romp race, a race which is 5.1miles in length but has 1050ft climb over the distance so a tough one. Results still to be added here
James Baker was one of five Harriers at the Leeds Run For All 10km, a flat and fast out and back event which takes a similar route to the Abbey Dash which usually takes place early November. James is missing from the results but finished in around forty minutes. Iain Girard finished in 50.34 for
