Kevin Wilson let a large number of Harriers home at the midweeks Darlington Trail Series. The weather in Darlington during the week in excess of 40 degrees in some locations making running difficult for all competitors. Cross Country Results

As reported last week the cross country finale took place at Richmond. Results have now been released which saw Darlington Harrier Ladies finish 4th overall and the men 6th.Well done everyone who has competed over the cross country season.

Young Beats Old

Four Harriers made the short trip to Bishop Middleham to take part in Gerry Kearsley handicap event which is based on competitors 10km times. The event is over multi terrain and free to enter. Nicola Young picked up the fastest woman trophy this year after posting the fastest time versus the time submitted. Well done

Harriers run at Kearsley event

The Gerry Kearsley Handicap is run in January and July over a multi terrain route on trails around Fishburn and Bishop Middleham and is free to enter.Handicapping is based on 10k times. Some Young Guy at Viking Chase

On Sunday we had three of our runners on show at the Viking Chase, a race in aid of the Cleveland Mountain rescue team.
