Ladies 2nd claim at XC opener

Harrier ladies had a fantastic opening race to the cross country season at a wet and muddy Acklam. Ellie Phillips put in a superb performance to finish 8th ahead of mum Sue Phillips 11th and Auntie Linda Noble 16th with Pauline Brown and Megan Noble fighting it out for 28th and 29th places. On Thursday evening 60 Harriers were on show at the NYMAC relays, a 4 person team relay each runner taking on a 1 mile loop around Stewart park Middlesboro. The course takes runners down a small bank which enables runners to get off to a quick start before levelling out until around 400m to go
