Richard Bowes was in action at the Reading Half Marathon this weekend, an event which was organised and run originally in 1983, when the start and finish venue was Reading University at White Knights Park.
The Sage Reading Half Marathon not only takes in the highlights of the centre of Reading where runners experience huge crowd support but also still passes through the grounds of the University campus finishing outside an Olympic stadium with over 15,000 people cheering competitors over the finish line.
Richard had an excellent run finishing in a new personal best of 1:38:34.
